These relaxation-focused classes move slowly through basic poses connected to breath, and finish with guided relaxation. The chair replaces the yoga mat and becomes an extension of your body, allowing you to take full advantage of yoga's amazing fitness and health benefits.
This is a great class for individuals working on rehabilitation / injury recovery or those with disabilities - including those in wheelchairs. Chair yoga also is accessible to those with weight challenges, inflexibility, or who just cannot get on the floor for any reason (such as arthritis concerns)
Chair Yoga is good for flexibility, balance, strength, stress management and relaxation.
Classes are available in 5 or 10 week blocks.
Space is limited to 12 students for each Chair Yoga class.
