All Starmont digital signage products share a common platform and set of tools.
Our servers are enterprise class Unix servers housed in some of the most advanced data centres in the world, complete with network and power redundancy, monitoring and multiple layers of physical access security.
Our digital signage players, also Unix based, are built on select hardware and software configurations. We ship a "ready to play" DS appliance with "ready to programme" web-based configuration tools that are accessible using any standard web browser from anywhere in the world.
Software as a service (SaaS)
SaaS provides a greatly reduced up front cost and faster time to delivery than boxed software products. A digital signage network, though simple in concept, can be a complicated administrative nightmare. SaaS removes much of the headache by providing an already proven infrastructure for the client to use.
Accepted as the most economical solution for many IT related products, SaaS allows Starmont to deliver cost effective digital signage products with continual updates and upgrades, totally transparent to the end-user. The client will never have to deal with software installations, upgrades, patches, network security issues or scaling.
Should something go wrong, Starmont is quick to assist in diagnostics, servicing or repair.
The initial cost of a Starmont DS system covers the cost of hardware (a specialized device or computer) and a license for Starmont's digital signage software.
Monthly fees, kept to a minimum and available at even lower prices based on volume, cover future upgrades, server access, network storage and access to the data feeds that Starmont provides.
