    Kelly Thomson Certified Nutritionist (CNP)

    Kelly Thomson Certified Nutritionist (CNP)

Nutritional deficiencies contribute to ill-health and dis-ease in the body! Start Thriving versus Surviving by taking charge of your own wellness by uncovering & addressing your nutritional imbalances that are creating the adverse symptoms associated with many health issues and/or weight management concerns.  Re-store and Optimize your health, well-being and energy by Re-balancing your body’s nutrient reserves using natural, safe and effective nutritional and lifestyle approaches.

Given the appropriate nutrients, the body has the innate ability to achieve optimal health!

Kelly graduated with First Class Honours from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, Canada’s leading Nutrition School, earning a

Certified Nutritional Practitioner diploma. She is thrilled to be joining the Moksha Yoga Wellness Team.

Holistic Nutrition exemplifies a preventative health care approach that recognizes the unique wholeness of each person with the intention of re-storing the body’s nutrient reserves and in so doing, stimulates the body to optimize health and wellness.

Kelly’s philosophy is that in order to help others attain optimal well-being, understanding their internal nutrient status will uncover the root causes creating undesired symptoms. Once the underlying issues are addressed, the body is encouraged to heal from within and the symptoms typically fade. In order to accomplish this, she adheres to the holistic approach to understand not only nutritional choices and habits, but also health history, lifestyle behaviours, physical activity, coping mechanisms, emotional and sleep tendencies as they all impact either the strength or imbalance of the current nutrient reserve. Ultimately, it is the combination of these factors that creates the state of nutritional deficiencies that are associated with much of today’s ill-health and diminished vitality. Once a comprehensive assessment is complete, a customized program is created that speaks to the specific needs of the client. Once supported with appropriate nutrients and lifestyle approaches, the body will re-balance its own regulatory systems guiding the individual to optimal health.

Nutritional coaching is beneficial for people who suffer with health conditions, weight loss concerns and those interested in preventative health care.  Strategies include dietary enhancements, menu planning, vitamin and mineral repletion, therapeutic nutrition, detoxification, stress management, physical and emotional techniques. Positive results are achieved by using natural, safe and effective approaches.

Nutritional re-balancing can be used to support issues such as Digestion-bloating, gas, diarrhea and constipation, Bowel Disorders-Crohn’s, Colitis and IBS, Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia, PMS, Menopause, Diabetes, Headaches/Migraines, Eczema, Psoriasis, Acne, Food Cravings, H-pylori, Yeast & Urinary infections, Fatigue, Acid Reflux- Heartburn, High Cholesterol, Weight Management etc.
