CAP offers high speed Internet connectivity as well as access to almost $3000 worth of software to the residents of Cavan Monaghan. We currently have several CD burners, colour and black & white laser printers, and a colour scanner at each branch for all of your data and design needs!Relax in the quiet air conditioned atmosphere with on-site assistance to research that next trip, school project, job search, health, genealogy, business, art, literature - the world is at your fingertips!Research & Recreation

Interlibrary Loans : Cavan Monaghan Libraries

Interlibrary Loans for audio-visual materials such as videos, CDs, DVDs and recorded books may be restricted as the lending library may choose not to send us this type of material. Material under 6 months old may be requestedas an Interlibrary Loan; however, it may not be supplied by the lending library. Generally, there is no cost to the patron, except where the lending library charges for audio or special material.


Cyber Camps : Cavan Monaghan Libraries

The Community Access Program has helped the Sparks and Brownies obtain their technology badges in the past with an hour of Internet safety and web awareness activities as well as fun games around cyber space. Children spend an hour taking an exciting trip around cyber space with each camp based around a theme. Technology BadgeDoes your Guiding or Scouting group need help with getting their technology badge.


Lending Period & Fines : Cavan Monaghan Libraries

If there is a hold on the material that you wish to renew, we will extend the due date but request that you return the item as soon as possible in consideration of the patron waiting for the material.If you wish to renew an Interlibrary Loan, you must contact the library with your request at least 7 days before the item's due date.


Computer Training : Cavan Monaghan Libraries

Call your preferred branch to set up a mutually convenient time and to discuss your training needs. The Cavan Monaghan Libraries offer FREE computer training in a variety of subjects. Computer training is available at either branch any time during our open hours.


Programmes for Children : Cavan Monaghan Libraries

Reading Buddies Reading Buddies is a tutoring-mentoring program partnering teen "teachers" with school age children requiring assistance with their reading skills. Children can learn about the solar system, solve mysteries and have fun with the variety of CD-ROMs available, which can also be checked out to enjoy at home.
