Prospectus and Eric Pelletier respectfully supported the Gala Charity Ball for Sgt. Mark Gallagher, held at the Delta Beauséjour in Moncton, Saturday evening October 22, 2011.

Gala patrons raised funds to build a new school in Haiti in honour of Sgt. Mark Gallagher, an RCMP officer who was killed during the 2010 Haitian earthquake. Former New Brunswick Premier Bernard Lord and RCMP District 5 Kent Commander S/Sgt. David Vautour were co-MCs of the event. The school will be built in Riviere Froide, Haiti, and give local Haitians the opportunity to develop skills and trades needed in post-Earthquake Haiti.

It’s a fitting tribute to Sgt. Mark Gallager, a man dedicated to giving to his family, friends and community.

Because of money raised at the event, the Sgt Mark Gallagher Memorial Vocational School in Haiti Project is now close to its goal of raising $1 million.
