Maple Leaf Auctions provides a full range of services to buyers and sellers of quality Canadiana.
Whether you are looking to sell a single item, privately or through auction, or dispose of an entire collection, we have proven expertise in this area. Here is a brief synopsis we go through with every client:
2. Arrange for shipping or pickup. We have travelled thousands of kilometres to pick up substantial collections, and will continue to do so. We will give you an on-site estimated sale range for the entire collection, and can pack and ship the collection ourselves.
3. Prepare for auction. Your items will be warehoused locally on secure premises, will be photographed professionally, described and catalogued. You will receive an advance copy of all auction descriptions and estimates for review.
5. Getting paid. We pay consignors within 60 days of auction close, unless there are pre-existing conditions that you have agreed to (in some cases, allowing a buyer a longer time period to pay can enhance total sales value).
6. Memories. You will receive one or more auction catalogues highlighting your collection, in full colour.
We consult regularly with collectors as to strategies to most effectively build key collections. As we are often approached by sellers with single key pieces that they want sold directly and immediately, we are able to place choice items into collections immediately, pleasing both buyer and seller. With first access to many multi-decade collections before they come to market, we are able to privately place exceptional pieces in the hands of discerning collectors.
