Many sales people are responsible for business development (winning profitable new business relationships) but are not properly trained in the special skills required to do this well. That is why 80% of all new business is signed after the 5th meeting with a prospect and 92% of sales people will have quit after the 4th. This course is based on over 20 years of experience and includes the knowledge, skills, and attitudinal qualities needed to be successful. It is accredited by the Canadian Professional Sales Association (participants completing the program can complete their exams for the Certified Sales Professional Rating from the CPSA.)The Art of Strategic Marketing
Many companies struggle to identify and communicate how they can create value for their clients and customers. This course is about how to develop a powerful value proposition about your company, business, product or service and how to get a compelling message to your target audience or market. Various communication strategies and channels are discussed - including use of social media - and how to ensure your sales people are using your key messages in their selling strategies (integration for impact in the market).

The Consultative Selling process currently practiced is based on identifying and satisfying customer needs as a bases for creating value. However, inherent in the process is still an adversarial framework that relies on strong closing skills to overcome objections and negotiate agreement. The unresolved conflict awaiting parties in the process at the "close" is one reason 68% of sales people do not ask for a commitment at the end of a new business presentation. This is an advanced sales course based on a consultative approach but with three key differences. In Intelligent Selling we reframe the selling process into a shared journey to value.
