Are you a student in post secondary education? Keep your receipt of your tuition and claim it as a credit on your income tax. As a student, you get a credit for your tuition, an education and textbooks amount. You must claim the expenses for 2012 onto your 2012 personal income tax. Whatever credit is not used you either have the choice to carry over to the following year until it is used or to allocate it to one of your parent or spouse. But you must report it.
