Tonal Finishing

Tonal finishing, or voicing, is done when an organ is installed in a church or other space.  The acoustics of the church are an important component of the final installation, and the organ's stops must be adjusted to sound right within this space.  Too often, organs are put in, connected up, and left as they came from the factory.  Sadly, most of these are not delivering their full potential.

Depending on the technology of the organ, voicing is done either by internal trimpot adjustment or by proprietary software and a laptop computer.

Voicing is a specialty of Bryant Holinaty.  He attends on-going factory training sessions as new technology is developed.  If you think your church organ should sound better than it does, call for more information.
