Here is an
overview of our methodology:
During this phase we work with you to understand how you are doing things
now. The purpose of the analysis is to determine how we need to configure
the system to best meet your needs, and where you can make procedural
changes to take better advantage of the tools available in the new system.
This service is available prior to making a full commitment to the project, so you can better understand what you are getting into before making your final decision.
Education & Overview Training
It is necessary at this point to bring your implementation team up to speed on the results of the Fit Analysis and the capabilities of the new system.
System Configuration & Tailoring
Based on the fit analysis and feedback during the Education & Overview Training, we will work with you to configure the system to best meet your requirements.
Data Entry / Conversion
Master file and open item data can be entered manually into the system or imported from spreadsheet files produced by your current system.
During this phase, you will use the system to process a set of transactions (orders) to ensure that the configuration and your entered / converted data will work as planned.
Based on the Fit Analysis and results of the Pilot Testing, you can modify your existing procedure documents to reflect the new ways of doing things.
All users who will be using the system will be trained just prior to going live, to ensure that they don't 'lose' what they have learned. The training is done interactively, as a combination of demonstration by the instructor and hands-on practice by the students. We can also do the train-the-trainer approach, where we train someone on your staff, who then trains your users.
Go Live Support
Your project leader and our support people will be at your disposal during the go-live phase of the project to assist you in any way required.
