PLEASE NOTE! PolyTrans and the NuGraf are exactly the same program internally (they share the same source code and are nearly identical executable images). When you purchase NuGraf you do not have to install PolyTrans from the CDROM.
PolyTrans is a simpler version of the NuGraf software that
does not include the scanline and ray tracing rendering capabilities, the fancier user
interface, the material editors, the texture editors, the interactive texture projection
capabilities or the 3D font creator. PolyTrans was designed to be a program in which you
would execute, perform some quick 3D translations and exit; whereas, NuGraf has the added
benefits of being able to manipulate the material attributes of the imported data, make photo-realistic renderings (or preview the data), then export the data (if you wish to
make an export). Many of our customers (and magazine reviewers) find NuGraf to be the
better value at only $100 more than the base cost of PolyTrans. As such, NuGraf is the
preferred product even if you have come to our WEB site to purchase PolyTrans.
