Roland DGA introduces a 64" Versa UV hybrid inkjet printer for the sign, packaging and specialty printing markets. Featuring Roland’s Versa UV technology the LEJ-640 prints CMYK, white and clear on substrates from roll media to half-inch thick board stocks, including corrugated cardboard, foam board and other rigid substrates. Bonus: the device simulates embossing on

virtually any flexible packaging media. It goes from roll-fed to flatbed, comes with a built-in sensor that ensures proper print-head positioning, prints at up to 1,440 x 1,440 dpi, and comes in three ink configurations consisting of CMYK, white and clear. It’s the clear ink that can be layered to produce both gloss and matte finishes, including 72 ready-to- apply patterns that come with the machine.
