  1. Install the anchor bolts using template, with conduit, through the centre. Concrete should be to the bottom of the thread on the bolts.
  2. After curing, place the leveling nuts on the anchor bolts and screw to the bottom. Install washers, also.
  3. Use a level to adjust the nuts to the same height.
  4. Lower the pole onto the anchors using nylon slings, not chains.
  5. Install washers on the top of the baseplate.
  6. Install nuts and tighten them to the correct ft/lbs:
    Anchor bolt torque (ft/lbs)
    lub r=150 dry
    5/8"   x   18"   =   110
    3/4"   x   18"   =   200

Dynapole: order checklist

Because light fixtures have widely varying mounting requirements, each pole is custom-made to receive the fixture you will be using, and so we need to have the following information before production can begin. Hundreds of special colours may be supplied if you provide the RAL colour number--an international, standard code that allows you to avoid the otherwise expensive process of custom-matching an existing colour.

Dynapole: specifications & standard features

All poles include a provision for one fixture: your choice of a tenon or single drilling; please specify the requirements of your fixture when ordering. Base mounted poles include galvanized steel anchor bolts, base cover, and one template per order; traffic poles are less anchor bolts. Many options and extras are available, and customizations will be gladly accommodated; please contact Dynapole with your requirements.

Dynapole: Measuring existing anchor bolts

If a replacement pole is required to suit an existing foundation, the base plate of the pole must be made to match the existing anchor bolts. The size and layout of anchor bolts can vary considerably; unfortunately, there is no "standard" size. Either the BCD or BSD of the 4 existing anchor bolts. Diameter of existing anchor bolts.
