Industrial applications that move materials, sort batches and manufacture in staged cell production often require information at many process points.   • Sign-off – allows a worker to update some of the fields on the label, such as digital signature, quality checklists, quantity counts or disposition decisions.  All of these inputs can be relayed back to be recorded in the MES system for a closed loop electronic records trail that is far superior to paper.  

Combined with easy to use Sync-Pad software, existing industrial printer/paper based systems can easily switch to e-paper with no change to their software backend. For character or bar-code related needs a simple windows based printer driver is supplied, making the switch to e-paper as simple as unplugging your printer and plugging in our USB wireless write station on the same cable.    

E-paper initiatives can also assist manufacturers to achieve environmental targets by reducing paper-based consumables in their process, qualifying for government subsidies and sustainable manufacturing incentives.  

For intensive information needs, we offer one of the popular e-books making their way onto the market, bundling with value added programming services to ensure these personal readers can easily be hooked into your MES back-end.  Instruction manuals, maintenance procedures and parts lists can all easily be displayed on a single tablet that travels with your technician and updates with your system wirelessly.  Where an intermediate solution is required, perhaps for simple checklists or procedures, we also offer integration services to enable the display of these records from your MES onto PDAs such as the BlackBerry or iPhone.
