Therapy sessions help to develop specific speech and/or language skills by using focused practice in combination with parent training and homework. Games, songs and other fun activities are an essential part of therapy and most children don’t realize that they’re actually learning while they’re playing! Therapy may also take the form of consultation with families or caregivers, providing them with the ideas and activities needed to meet the goals of therapy in the home setting.
