Just before making your final decision of purchasing your new home, it is wise and recommended to have your home inspected by a professional Home Inspector. It gives you an unbiased opinion on the real condition of the house.
At HomeStat, we are here to help you make that informed decision. By accompanying your inspector throughout the house you will have an opportunity to ask questions and raise any concerns you might have. We will provide you with a comprehensive report that offers an overall present view of the major systems and components inspected and any major and minor deficiencies the house may have. By doing so, you are making sure you are in a proactive position towards your investment.
That is what we call a smart investment!
The Re-inspection is a unique service HomeStat has created for its clients. A re inspection is essentially a follow up on the changes and repairs that were made following our recommendations from the time of initial inspection. The re-inspection report is an addendum that indicates the status of each deficiency. In the report that we provide, you will find all originally indicated deficiencies and their current status: corrected/acceptable, deficient: repairs required or repairs are still pending.
You are probably asking yourself why you would want to inspect your own home just before listing it. Initiating a home inspection is the way to get an understanding of the home's condition and possible deficiencies which may influence a future sale.
At HomeStat we believe that being proactive at this stage will better prepare you for the real value of your home and changes you may choose to make to improve your position in an upcoming transaction.
Homes are not perfect. Not even new homes. In order to include all major and minor repairs under your New Home Warranty list, you need to be aware of the potential for overlooked items that are your responsibility to discover.
It is also a busy time for you as a new home owner; you have many things to think about and may not be able to give your full attention to creating a list of needed repairs.
For example, have you ever thought of checking your attic? Would you know what to look for if you did? At HomeStat your Inspector knows what to look for, for proper functionality and safety.
A home inspection will save you money as well. Overlooked items the builder did not receive notice of, will not be repaired and you would have to take care of them on your own.
A home inspection is a smart move and a worthwhile expense that will pay for itself many times over!
Wouldn't it be nice to have an "edge" over unexpected major ticket expenses in your home?
