In addition to installations and sales, Soundbox has an in-house service and repair department. We offer excellent diagnostic and repair services for audio, lighting and video equipment for both existing customers and new. Service can be performed at our Hamilton location and on-site support is also available.
We can service warrantied and non-warranty equipment and have customization options available to suite your individual requirements.
Service and Repair FAQ
Q: What is the cost for servicing at Soundbox?
A: Service is billed on a per hour basis, plus parts cost (if needed). We charge a minimum of one hour at $55 on each service request. This hour includes full testing of unit and cleaning. Depending on the repair, sometimes the full repair can be completed in one hour.
Q: What is the cost for on site service call?
A: On site service calls start at $100. This covers the first hour on site and travel expenses for the greater Hamilton area. Other locations will be quoted on a per job basis.
Q: Will Soundbox let me know the cost of the repair before I decide to proceed?
A: YES! If the problem can not be fixed within the hour or needs parts, our service manager will call you and let you know the quote and ask if you want to proceed.
Q: Do you service all makes and models of equipment?
A: YES! But, if you have any concerns or very rare equipment, please call first and talk to our service manager and give us the details of the equipment. If we expect an issue, we will advise beforehand.
