We do the work! You choose the candidate! Since 1972, we have been working with employers in our community to assist with their hiring needsWe get to know our clients. When you place a job order with us, we will refer only those who we feel confident are suited to your needs Get 4 - 5 resumes instead of hundreds from a newspaper ad or other job posting and save the advertising costs!

Our Employment Services training incentives provide an opportunity for you to hire and train a new employee while we cover part of their wages.

Eligibility for employers :
Business is licensed to operate in Ontario.
Hiring will complement existing staff and not result in lay-offs
You have WSIB (or the equivalent) as well as third party liability insurance

This summer, almost 1000 students will be placed in summer jobs through SJS. As an employer, you can benefit! Funding is available for positions from April to September
Full-time or part-time positions
Simple application and approval process
Receive approval and reimbursements directly from our office.

Applications are available in March.  Apply early as this program is in high demand.

While we have an initial application deadline in early April, funds are generally available throughout the early summer, depending on demand.


Apprenticeship training

Participating in apprenticeship training allows you to develop employees who are not only trained to provincial industry standards, but who also understand your specific workplace.


Incentives
A $2,000 Apprenticeship Employer Signing Bonus is available to ES employers who hire, register and train an apprentice as part of their participation in our Employment Services.
