BeanCounter Services can provide for all of your accounting, finance, and payroll needs, regardless of your location in Ontario. How? By partnering with some great companies to ensure that your data is securely transported to us and your files are stored safely and securely. 

Here’s how it works: 

1)     You decide how much paperwork you are willing to do on your end.

a)    If you want us to handle everything, just store all of your receipts, invoices, and bank statements in an envelope and send it via Purolator, UPS, or snail mail whenever the envelope is full.

b)    If you want to do your own invoicing Freshbooks generates invoices and sends them by email to your customers.  They can then pay you via credit card, debit, or Paypal.  You can also pay bills through Freshbooks.  BeanCounters can log on and import your accounts payable information into your company file.

c)    For an easy way to track expenses, try Expense Cloud.  Receipts are scanned from your smart phone or scanner, then entered and categorized.  Best of all, there’s no need to keep paper, as everything is stored safely on the internet servers.  BeanCounters simply logs on and adds the accounts receivable information to the company file.

d)    If you prefer to do your own bookkeeping, it can be easily accomplished with either Quickbooks or Simply Accounting.  We can help you create a company file and provide initial training.  A copy of the file is sent to BeanCounters monthly via “Accountant’s file” for bank reconciliations, review, and closing journal entries.

2)    Payroll is easily facilitated by a similar method.


b)    Fill in timesheets according to your payroll schedule.


d)    We’ll do the rest!

3)    Taxes are easily prepared if your company file has been maintained by BeanCounters.  We will complete your closing entries, prepare your forms, e-file or paper file, and provide you with a copy for your records.

a)    Note:  it is far better for a single company to prepare an entire family’s returns at the same time.  This ensures that all possible credits are taken by the family member that gets the most tax benefit and prevents deductions from being duplicated (thereby avoiding reassessment and fees later).
