Detailed Inspection & Daylighting
At Brass our operators are our most valuable asset. All of our operators have specific training and many years of experience which is utilized to carefully and safely expose any underground plant so that utility maintenance and/or upgrades can be completed. Is a function we often perform to safely locate and identify underground plant at congested locations, for example intersections or road crossings. This allows further utility work to be completed without any costly damage to existing plant.
Work Area Safety & Traffic Planning
Safety is our #1 priority at Brass, without exceptions. All operators training include Traffic Control and Work Area Protection. All trucks are inspected prior to each day’s work, and a detailed tailboard talk sheet is logged for each job. Specific requirements for cones, flags, barriers and traffic personel is applied prior to each job commencing.
Remote Access
Because we utilize late model, high powered equipment we can use remote extention pipe to excavate effectively up to 1000' from the truck.
Duct Location
Our experienced operators can find and identify UG duct banks to assist in development projects.
Pole Hole & Guy Holes
Accustomed to working in a production environment our crews can Hydro excavate pole & guyholes in a wide range of soil conditions & weather conditions.
Successfully trench for our customer in a specific route, safely locating exisiting plant along the proposed route.
U/G Electrical Restoration
To find, safely excavate faulted U/G services. Assist with repairs to restore service to the customer’s residence.
Water Break Location
Locate and identify water breaks and water boxes for repair or replacement.
Dry Vac / Dome Cleaning
Using our exclusive high powered "Dry Vac" system to remove excess materials from a storage dome without the use of water.
