Registered Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapy

We offer Registered Massage Therapy on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Massage Therapy is a holistic therapy meaning it utilizes the total resources of the body to heal any specific condition. Like the body itself, no condition is permanent and therefore is subject to change. We believe that the most significant change toward healing comes first in a person's pattern of awareness. Massage or other holistic therapies allows the client to experience homeostasis, balance, harmony thus giving them the key to unlock any limiting views of their experience and utilize new information to make a proactive change.

All treatments include an optional aroma journey and aromatic steam towels to warm and soothe the senses.

Feel free to request a specific type of massage or a combination of the following (Cranial Sacral Therapy, Deep Tissue Therapy, Relaxation Therapy)

45 minute: $60

Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing form of body therapy that can be both relaxing and energizing. You wear comfortable clothing that allows the freedom in the body to be moved and stretched. This massage blends palming and thumbing of the body's energy lines with stretching in Yoga assisted postures which help to restore and maintain balance in both the body and mind. Gentle stretching of the joints and muscles relieves tension, enhances flexibility, and induces a deep state of tranquility.

Energy Therapy

Energy Therapy

We offer Energy Therapy with Isabella D’Alessandro on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Are you actively involved in your own healing however in the dark with what’s going on with your body, your work or your life (or all three)?

Energy therapy can relieve pain and stress by uncovering the root cause to release it, create more joy and inner calm, and connect you more fully with your deepest self.

A Story..

A woman transitioning from working in the corporate world wanted to pursue her dream of becoming a full-time yoga instructor.  She hated her job, had digestive problems, and alternated between anxiety and bouts of depression.  She knew she needed to let go of the emotional weight she was carrying before moving forward and heard of energy therapy as a possible solution.  The first few sessions were focused on releasing pent-up grief and anger that were stored within her body and energy field since childhood.  Within weeks she was much more at peace and realized how her job was keeping her from fully healing.  She continued energy therapy.  Months later, her physical symptoms were completely gone and she had so much energy to put into the new life that she was creating.

How does it work?

The body is incredibly wise and it knows exactly what it needs to heal. Each appointment is a unique combination of many powerful healing methods and specifically chosen by the body’s innate wisdom.

Naturopathy

Naturopathy

We offer Naturopathy on Thursday and Friday beginning in November.

Naturopathic medicine is a centuries old system of medicine which honours seven tenets, the cornerstone of which is the Vis Medicatrix Naturae or the healing power of nature. The Vis or the life force is a concept valued by many traditional healing systems from East to West. The Vis is the force within us all which, guided by the power of nature, can heal all of our ills. Naturopathy's goal is to treat the whole person, each an individual, from the inside out - integrating mind, body and spirit.

Naturopathy enjoys a wide scope of practice involving counseling, nutrition, homeopathy, botanical medicine, naturopathic bodywork, hydrotherapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine including acupuncture. Because of its individualized approach, its gentle and co-operative work with the innate healing power of the body, and its ability to complement other treatment approaches, there is nothing Naturopathy can not treat!

Initial Visit (11/2 hours): 140$

First visit includes an introduction to Heather and Naturopathy, a very detailed health and personal history, any relevant physical exams, and discussion of the wide array of treatment options available.

Follow-up Visit (1 hour): 80$
