Laminating > Open Cell Polyethylene :: Laminacorr

Open-cell foam is the least expensive laminating option and is usually utilized in expendable packaging applications. Where life expectancy of the packaging is of lesser concern, open-cell foam is an economical option. The cell structure of this foam provides a soft, cushioning surface as well as abrasion protection. The densities of open-cell foams are around 1/2 to 3/4 of a pound per cubic foot.

Laminating :: Laminacorr

A soft, pliable fabric, Spunguard is non-abrasive and can be laminated to a variety of surfaces, including corrugated plastics, paperboard, HDPE sheet, etc. Spunguard, a 100% polypropylene spun material, meets class-A surface protection requirements and is the most commonly used laminate for part protection. It can be applied to either one side or two sides of the substrate and can then be die cut, slit or scored to required specifications.

Laminating > Crosslinked Foam :: Laminacorr

Crosslinked foam meets class-A surface protection requirements and is a common choice for maximum part protection in various dunnage configurations. Where superior protection is required, crosslinked foam provides a combination of abrasion protection and cushioning. We recommend testing with actual parts to ensure suitability of this product in individual applications.
