Personal Training is more than exercise; together with your Trainer you will focus on all aspects of your lifestyle to make sure that you are getting the most out of the time you have. Along with your gym membership, personal training is one of the most valuable investments you can make in your long term health and vitality.

Sessions are generally 60 minutes in length. During a series of sessions your trainer will develop a personalized fitness program that will emphasize proper form, technique and nutritional requirements.

Prices range from approximately $50 to $65 per hourly session. Rates vary based on trainer qualifications, specialty services required and the number of session purchased.

Jenny's passion for fitness, dedication to clients, and relentless enthusiasm are the driving forces behind her success. A graduate of Lakehead University with a Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology (Gerontology) and a Master of Science in Kinesiology (Sport Psychology), Jenny has established herself as a successful college level teacher, varsity coach, and fitness leader over the past 10 years.

Commitment to continuing education coupled with the ability to incorporate fun and energy into every program, keeps Jenny’s unique training techniques in high demand. She is sought after by many, including Ontario Provincial Police officers, and comes highly recommended by local health professionals for both general and rehabilitation purposes. 

Jenny is a Certified Personal Trainer through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP).   CSEP is the only Canadian agency that requires academic prerequisites for certification, is directly affiliated with current research and is demanding of the highest standards of practice.  Along with being a Heart Wise Exercise Trainer through the Ottawa Heart Institute, she holds certifications in Spinning, Fitness Kickboxing, Nutrition Consulting and is a member of the Ontario Kinesiology Association. 

Chris Burgess, B.Sc., M.Ed.
Athletic Training Specialist

Growing up in Pakenham, Chris was active in sport and recreational activities. These passions lead him to pursue a career in physical health education. He attended St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY on a Merit Scholarship for academics and athletics earning his B.Sc. in Sport and Leisure Studies and a M.Ed. in Education with honours. As a certified physical and health educator, he worked in the school system as a Phys Ed Teacher for 7 years; during this time Chris also coached track & field. In his personal athletic career, he was 5-time NCAA Track & Field All-American, 2-time National Champion touch football player, and a Member of Canada’s flag football team.

He started working with clients as a Personal Trainer while still attending university and has continued to develop programs for people of all abilities, ages, and goals. Chris approaches fitness as a way to promote lifelong functional fitness through a variety of activities that will engage each individual based on their personal interests.

Chris has a very diversified background in fitness and health. He is currently the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Ottawa Senators NHL team, and President of Fitquest – sports performance training . He has over 14 years experience working clinically as an Exercise Therapist and 17 years in coaching and rehabilitating numerous professional and amateur athletes, includingNHL, OHL, NCAA, CFL, CIS and National Team athletes. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Dalhousie, and a certification through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology as a Professional Fitness Lifestyle Consultant. In his personal career as an athlete, Chris competed internationally as a Former Division 1 Professional Volleyball player.
