Message From the Mayor

Welcome to Trent Hills, Ontario, Canada

On behalf of Council and staff, it is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the official web site for the Municipality of Trent Hills.  Our goal is to provide you with valuable information about our community and the services the Municipality provides to residents, visitors, organizations and businesses.

There are many ways to measure what makes an area great. From my perspective as Mayor, I can attest that Trent Hills exhibits all the characteristics of a remarkable place to work, or to call home. Trent Hills is a diverse and prosperous area with a population of approximately 12,500.  Among our many assets, we host a strong agricultural community and three urban and distinct communities: Hastings - a water sports destination, Campbellford - ample business opportunities and historical charm, and Warkworth - a thriving centre for arts and culture.

Trent Hills is evolving as a tourist destination and equally as a business destination. With the development of carefully chosen projects, this area will continue to develop and flourish while preserving its strong sense of community and valuable quality of life.

We'd love to hear from you: whether you're looking to relocate and want to know more about our community; planning a visit and want to schedule your vacation; looking to do business within our municipality and need logistical information; or an established resident searching for specific information, I hope you will find our web site as welcoming as our community.

Welcome to Trent Hills - whether you are here for business, pleasure or as a new resident, I am sure you will find everything you need. Thank you for visiting our web site.

Hector Macmillan

Mayor, The Municipality of Trent Hills
