Accessing Mental Health Services

When a child or youth is experiencing mental health, emotional or behavioural problems, knowing where to get help may be confusing and stressful. Front Door provides a one-stop first contact for families and young people who are looking for assistance and services.

When you call Front Door, you have the opportunity to talk with a trained professional who is knowledgeable about the challenges a young person may be dealing with, the stress a family experiences when a child/teen is coping with mental health issues, and the variety and range of services available for children/teens within our community and beyond.

Front Door Opens Doors

By calling Front Door, families can access an information telehone line that provides them with accurate and up-to-date information about government-funded child and youth services as well as related professional and specialized services in the community.
