Our pilates studio is located within Haldimand Physiotherapy Centre. We offer a variety of group classes including introduction, essential, intermediate and advanced levels. We also offer numerous specialty classes including pilatews bootcamp, pre-natal pilates, small equipment, yogilates, pilates mommies and our reformer classes. If more individualized sessions are your style, we also offer private and semi-private lessons to maximize your workout and progress. Our studio is fully equipped with mats, reformers, fitness circles, Physio balls, foam rollers, music and various other accessories. All you need is yourself to attend a class!
Introduction to Pilates
This class is an introduction to the basic Pilates principles and their application. Explore Pilates as a new way to gain core strength, flexibility and improve posture through movement. This is for clients with no previous Pilates experience.
For those who have mastered the fundamentals of Pilates, this progression will leave you feeling strong, streamlined, and invigorated.Pre-requisite: Introduction to Pilates or previous Pilates experience
This safe and effective workout is designed for the pregnant woman that wishes to continue exercising throughout her pregnancy. Pilates increases a sense of well being at any stage of pregnancy, boosts energy levels and may speed up recovery after giving birth.
This workout is specifically for postpartum women with their babies aged 6 weeks – 6 months. Explore Pilates as a way to restore the strength and stability of your low back and pelvis after having your baby. This class will teach you how to isolate your deep abdominals and make them strong again (flatter stomachs!) Each class will include 45 minutes of Pilates instruction and 15 minutes of infant massage.
Join use for an added twist on Pilates Matwork. Add variety and intensity to your mat routine and increase your balance and core strength with the use of the stability ball, foam roller, fitness circle, weighted balls, and flex-bands. Pre-requisite: Introduction to Pilates
Get the best of both with one class! Yogilates is a blend of Yoga & Pilates. Develop core strength and stability, improve flexibility while decreasing stress.
Intro Reformer – Maximum 4 students
This class will incorporate Stott™ Pilates basic principles to a dynamic workout using spring resistance equipment. It will leave you looking and feeling toned, revitalized and refreshed. Pre-requisite: Introduction to Pilates
Essential Reformer – Maximum 4 students
This class will expand on the repertoire learned in Intro Reformer to continue to challenge your strength and coordination. Pre-requisite: Intro Reformer
Pilates for Golfers
This class is designed to prepare you for the golf season. Stay in the game and improve your swing mechanics with increased flexibility, core strength, and improved posture during the off season.
No previous Pilates experience required.
Pilates Boot Camp **NEW**
If you are looking for a faster-paced, higher intensity Mat class this is it! This class is designed for the more experienced Pilates participant.

1 session - $30 + HST per session, per person
