The air compression process has a number of by-products, one of which is a large volume of condensate. Generally, this condensate is an emulsified combination of oil and water which, if left untreated, is extremely harmful to the environment. Because of the potential damage this condensate can cause, strict regulations have been introduced that prohibit the disposal of such waste without rigorous treatment.
PSI's range of condensate separators are designed to separate the oil from the water, allowing for the water to be drained away and the oil to be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

Air receivers store compressed air for peak demand in excess of compressor flow rate. They increase the cooling of the compressed air and collect possible condensate and oil droplets.

The Intermediate Control monitors air pressure as it is delivered to production and releases air from storage to maintain a continuous, optimal air pressure supply at your workstations. Just because an air compressor compresses atmospheric air doesn't ensure that the air delivered is "Breathable Air". There is no such thing as a breathable air compressor. Unfortunately our atmosphere is not pure. It is actually loaded with contamination, but we are unable to see the sub-micronic particles and gases. For the compressed air to be suitable for breathing air, it must be properly purified with the appropriate monitoring equipment in place. All of our production meet the Canadian Z180.1-00 standard and the US CGA G7.1-1997 and OSHA Grade D standards.
