New ideas, concepts, information, technology, processes and social views will mean that in order to remain an "Expert" we will fall back or forward in the cycle by becoming either conscious-competent or unconscious-incompetent requiring more practice, learning, and training.The question might be "Are experts successful?"In my opinion, it is when we are conscious-competent that we are most successful because we are open to the available feedback about new ideas, concepts, information, technology, processes and social views and yet we have the special skill, knowledge, training and experience required to perform.Maybe I could put it more simply by saying success happens by "becoming" an "Expert" more than by being one, in my opinion, which leads to saying success is not a destination, but a journey.
