South Asian Family Enrichment

The South Asian Family Enrichment (SAFE) program provides support to all members of South Asian families who are caught in the cycle of family violence. By collaborating with individuals, cultural centres, businesses and religious organizations within ethno-specific communities, we offer culturally appropriate services that help women, children and men eliminate violence within their families.

Counsellors and volunteers provide education and mentoring on how to lead healthy, abuse-free lives. Our volunteers are specially trained and work closely with professional counsellors and other agencies in the community, providing advocacy and ongoing support to South Asian clients in difficult circumstances.

Homicide Survivor Support

Victim Services of Peel has created a group setting where individuals gather to explore their feelings and share insight and experiences. Sessions begin with an introduction from the facilitating counsellor and lead into a specific topic for group discussion. The group was created due to the growing need to provide support to survivors of homicide within their community.
