Supportlink/ DVERS

The Supportlink/Domestic Violence Emergency Response System program is a personal home alarm linked to the Peel Regional Police and an emergency 911-only cell phone for individuals at high risk of violence by an intimate ex-partner. The goal of the program is to provide a safe family environment, support the process of empowerment, and restore a sense of normalcy to clients’ lives.

Homicide Survivor Support

Victim Services of Peel has created a group setting where individuals gather to explore their feelings and share insight and experiences. Sessions begin with an introduction from the facilitating counsellor and lead into a specific topic for group discussion. The group was created due to the growing need to provide support to survivors of homicide within their community.
