Fear Itself #5

Here’s what’s arriving at Stadium Comics on Wednesday, August 9th 2011. The big title shipping this week is Fear Itself #5. This issue promises a fight between Thor, Hulk, and The Thing. Also from Marvel is the conclusion of The Iron Age, Alpha Flight #3, and Amazing Spider-Man #667! Still available is our Amazing Spider-Man #666 Stadium Comics variant, which can be picked up in-store, and also online.

DC Comics’ big book this week is War of the Green Lanterns Aftermath #2 – this will lead directly into Green Lantern #1 launching in September. Detective Comics #881 is also released tomorrow, and DC’s Retroactive books continue as they take a look at Green Lantern, The Justice League, and Superman in the 1980′s.

We’ve also got the continuation of Jonathan Hickman’s Red Wing, and some Street Fighter Heroclix!

It’s unfortunate though that some retailers are taking this wonderful opportunity that’s been given to our industry, and using it to gouge their customers with ridiculously inflated prices. If you’re doing this because you’re worried about comic speculators buying up all of your books so that others can’t, then limit the amount people can purchase.
