Technology Life-cycle Model
The IT Direct Technology Life-cycle Model is designed to help your company
leverage its technology assets to improve customer service, boost profitability
and manage your total cost of ownership. Our life-cycle takes you through five
phases to help you effectively manage your technology environment from discovery
through re-evaluation. PHASE I: Discovery.
Our goal is to understand your true needs so that we
may be a better partner. We start by asking detailed questions to better
understand your business and IT needs. What are your business goals and
objectives? What is your current infrastructure? What are your growth plans? PHASE II: Analysis.
A network analysis is conducted to analyze your
current infrastructure and future IT needs in order to design a network that is
what you need, when you need it. What hardware and software do you own? How is
it configured? Where is it located? Does it conform to corporate standards? PHASE III: Implementation.
After a technically sound solution is
designed, we will implement it, on time and on budget. We involve you, our
customer, to the level you desire in the project. We give you status reports and
project completion reviews. PHASE IV: Service & Support.
Providing quality service and support,
you can choose block-time support, help desk, on-site maintenance and or remote
network management, as well as complete outsourcing of your IS needs. Phase V: Re-evaluation, refresh, disposition.
Making sure your assets are
working for you at all times, we will re-evaluate your IT needs and suggest
enhancements and/or disposition. We will periodically meet with you to review
your update plans and goals, and assist you in budgeting to keep you
financially, as well as technically, on track.
