Boarding for cats that are on the BARF or raw diet.

The price for these cats is dependent on their chosen foods. We can provide raw foods from Tollden Farms. You will be charged $12 + GST for one cat and the raw foods will be additional to this charge.

Medications

$2.50 (plus GST). If your cat is on oral medication or drops we charge a nominal fee of $2.50/day.  Please let us know in advance of any medical requirements your cat might have. If your cat required medication twice a day it is $5/day.

**Please note, we are no longer taking diabetic cats.

Transportation

Transportation from Natural Pet Foods in Westboro or Carleton Place is offered for $20 each way.  The Westboro store is located at 339 Churchill Avenue North, close to Scott Street and the Carleton Place store is located at 61 Bridge Street. Please call to get details on times and dates. Please note, we do not do weekend pick-up and drop-off's from the shop. *Please call us to confirm a date and time.

In the event that your cat requires veterinary attention we will either take them to the closest veterinary clinic or where possible take them to their regular veterinarian. We have four excellent veterinary clinics within a ten minute drive from the spa. We charge a nominal fee of $20 to drive your cat to one of the veterinary clinics near us. If the cat has to go to another vet further away the same costs as pick-up from home would apply (please see costs below). Any veterinary costs would be added to your bill.

Transportation from home:

Please note, due to rising fuel costs our transportation fees have increased for 2008. Usually we try to schedule these pick-ups between 1-3.

$50 each way to Kanata, Nepean, Carleton Place and Almonte

$60 each way west of Woodroffe

$70 each way to Ottawa and Nepean east of Woodroffe

$150 to Hull, Vanier, Gloucester and the airport

Grooming Services.

Nail clipping: $10 + GST.

Waterless bath $10 + GST.

Billing

Payment is due at the time of check-in for the duration of the booking. You may check your cat out early but you are still responsible for payment for the days you booked. Payment can be made by visa, interact, mastercard or cash if the cat is being dropped off at the spa. Otherwise, payment may be made by cash or cheque.  Clients are responsible for payment for the duration of their booking. We cannot always extend a stay (for example at Christmas) so please check with us if you wish to extend a stay. There are no returns on deposits or bookings.

A $20 deposit must be made to secure a reservation and is non-refundable. During the Christmas season a $50 non-refundable deposit is required.

Billing is based on how many nights your cat stays at the spa. The check-out time is by 11:00. If your cat is picked up in the evening you are billed for that day.

In the unlikely event your cat requires veterinary attention, the veterinary bill will be added to your bill on pick-up.

If your cat is found to have fleas it will be treated with Advantage or Revolution and the cost will be added to your bill on pick-up.

Massage, Reiki, Bowen Treatments.

Massage, reiki and bowen treatments can be arranged for your cat in advance. Kathleen Collins of Animal Lifestyle - animal massage therapist and behaviourist will spend either 30 minutes ($30) or 60 minutes ($50) for a treatment. These can be arranged while your cat is vacationing at Cat's Paradise Spa and Boarding Retreat. For more information on Kathleen and these services please call us.

Pet Photography.

Have your cat professionally photographed by our photographer. He can do a traditional framed photo or a photo on canvas while your cat is vacationing at Cat's Paradise Spa and Boarding Retreat. For more information on this service please call us.

**Please note we do have a minimum stay for Christmas Dec 1-Feb 1 is 7 nights. Long weekends is 5 nights.
