Opt out forms are due the second Friday after your program start date, no exceptions.

If you are covered by an equivalent Health and Dental Plan you may Opt Out by visiting the OCSU office on your campus, filling out an Opt Out form and providing acceptable proof of coverage.

Please note that MSP (Medical Services Plan of BC or your Provincial Health Plan) card is not considered acceptable proof of coverage as we do not cover your Provincial Health Plan.

How To Opt Out

What Is Acceptable Proof Of Coverage?

• An extended health insurance card with your name on it
• A letter from your insurance provider on company letter head
• A letter from the issuing employer on company letter head

www.ocsu.ca :: Tutor Registry

Because not everyone in Calculus 111 understands that inverse derivate function right away, and because learning a second language is always easier with someone to talk to, OCSU is happy to provide the online Tutor Registry. Until now, these members were left to either plaster the poster boards of our hallways with tutoring offers, or to scour these boards for a tutor in the subject they need help with.

www.ocsu.ca :: Students' Union Store

Your Students' Union Store is the best place to grab a quick snack between classes, or a cheap energy drink before that afternoon midterm. For the lowest priced snacks on the Kelowna Campus, look no further than the Students' Union Store. Located conveniently in the OCSU office on the Kelowna - KLO campus at our office.

www.ocsu.ca :: Book Exchange

Our Book Exchange is set up as an online marketplace, where members with textbooks they no longer need post those texts with an asking price and students entering courses requiring those texts can search the site and purchase the texts directly from their peers.

www.ocsu.ca :: Services

Some are campus based and locally developed, like our store on the KLO campus, locker rentals in Penticton, or Friday games day in Salmon Arm, and some are in parternship with the Canadian Federation of Students, like the free dayplanner we give to every member for free.
