A deposit of 20% is required per layaway. For your convenience, payments may be made via credit card or post-dated cheques. We will implement a payment schedule, automatically processing payments until the item is paid for.failure to make payments for three consecutive months cancels the layaway plan. Any monies paid prior to cancellation will be given as credit towards purchase of other work at Houston North Gallery.
For purchases of $500 and under – 3 month plan
For purchases of $501 – $1500 – 6 month plan
For purchases of $1501 and up – 1 year plan

Qualifications of John Houston as Appraiser
Owner and Director of Houston North Gallery established in 1981 by John and his mother, the late Alma Houston, Inuit art pioneer. Houston North Gallery specializes in Inuit art for over twenty-eight years. John has completed numerous appraisals for private clients, including the Power Family collection/Michigan, and public institutions, including the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Sarick Collection, the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Ian G. Lindsay Collection and the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.
