Liposuction is an extraordinarily flexible procedure, appropriate both as a standalone treatment for excess body fat and as a treatment performed in combination with other procedures, including breast lift, breast reduction, surgery for gynecomastia, tummy tuck, and body lift procedures. Almost any generally healthy person who is affected by isolated fat deposits is a good candidate for liposuction. It is important to remember, however, that liposuction is not a weight loss procedure. If your goal is to lose a significant amount of weight, you should seek out another approach. In addition, liposuction is not an effective treatment option for skin conditions such as stretch marks and cellulite.
