Road Scholar is a not-for-profit leader in educational travel since 1975 (founded as Elder Hostel) offering more than 7,000 educational tours in all 50 states and 150 countries. Alongside local and well-known experts, you can experience as an individual, or part of a couple, family or group in-depth and behind-the-scenes learning opportunities, from cultural tours and study cruises to walking, biking and more.
In partnership with Cabot Shores, Road Scholar is offering 2 exceptional programs which will focus on Cultural & Inter-generational adventures with Cabot Shores as adventure destination on Cape Breton, located on the Cabot Trail.
Each programs kicks off in 2012. The programs are 6 nights, 7 days and run through Spring, Summer and Fall of 2012 at an exceptionally reasonable price and will be hosted by outstanding local guides at Cabot Shores Wilderness Resort.
Road Scholar also provides instructors who accompany you on your travels and are both authorities on your topic or destination and lifelong learners themselves who are excited to answer your questions, hear your opinions and share in your experience. Even more, the learning that takes place is not imparted solely by lecturers and experts, but is a shared experience augmented to a major degree by the participants themselves.
