Whether you need as little as 1 hour a day to help prepare meals or as much as 24 hours due to medical conditions our workers will handle all of your needs to enable you to stay at home. Clients and their families can be assured of quality home care, personal care, constant companionship, home support and supervision.

Nursing

If medical care is required Provincial Health and Home Care have registered nurses and Licenced Practical Nurses on staff who you will come into your home and complete assessments, train workers, and delegate any medical functions to ensure clients get the quality care they require.

Personal Care

We take life’s basic activities for granted until we are unable to perform them. Some elderly or disabled clients require assistance with activities of daily living such as getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, grooming and toileting. Our workers realize that having someone come into your home to assist with these private tasks can be difficult so we are dedicated to providing this type of care discreetly and respectfully.

Respite Care

Taking care of a family member is one of the hardest and most stressful jobs in the world. Our caregivers are trained to tend to the needs of your loved one when you need to take a break or tend to other responsibilities. We are dedicated to providing relief for as long as necessary, whether it is for a few hours, days or weeks.

Child Care

As much as we would like to always be there for our children, it is not always possible. Whether it is daycare, babysitting, or parent coaching, our Child Care service can provide professional help with infants, young or disabled children on a moments notice.

Home Support

Daily tasks at home can become challenging as we get older. Our home care workers will give you peace of mind by taking care of all your household needs. We help with routine tasks such as cooking, cleaning, dishwashing, laundry and other housekeeping duties that allow you to remain independent in your home.

Companionship

People who live alone can feel isolated and lonely which can negatively impact their quality of life. Our home health care workers can help by providing companionship when their family can’t be there. For our clients who like being on the move such as walking, shopping or going to the movies, we have companions to accompany them on their outings. For those who prefer to stay closer to home, our companions can talk over coffee, play games or just be a friend.

Supervision

Our home based supervision assists and/or instructs an individual in maintaining a safe environment in the absence of the primary caretaker. This includes medication reminders, escorting a client to appointments or recreational activities and supervising a client during daily activities such as eating, dressing, personal hygiene, laundry and simple household chores. We then report any changes in the client’s needs or condition.
