Naverus RNP Availability Forecast Service (NRAFS)

Operators using RNP procedures are required to obtain a forecast of RNP availability for intended airports of operation. The Naverus RNP Availability Forecast Service (NRAFS) meets this requirement by providing worldwide RNP availability forecasting -- specific to an operator’s aircraft -- as a means to prevent the dispatch of aircraft when satellite availability of RNP may be degraded. The delivery of NRAFS can be customized to the operator’s requirements, providing seamless integration into existing dispatch systems.

Naverus | Procedures for PBN

RNP AR, the highest performing type of PBN procedure, offers the most benefit to users by allowing for predetermined, precise, curved flight paths that optimally navigate within an airspace to reduce track miles, conserve fuel, preserve the environment, and increase airspace capacity.

Naverus | Maintaining PBN Procedures

Additionally, over time, as the types of aircraft flying a particular procedure change, or as surrounding traffic patterns change, it's often possible to refine and improve the PBN flight path. Once a PBN procedure has been designed, it's imperative that terrain and obstacles along the flight path be monitored to insure the continued safety and integrity of the procedure.
