Who We Help
My Caregivers is ideally suited to seniors and other people who are in some form of transition — be that, beginning to need help with basic self care, such as bathing and getting dressed, home maintenance, meal preparations, or requiring daily help with medication management or appointments. We also provide referrals to in-home care for more complex needs. We reserve the right to decline clients based on a thorough assessment, if after wards, we conclude that our scope of services cannot adequately meet the need.
We develop a thorough Care Plan offering not only the core services of home support or medical care, but also respite care — taking over when family caregivers need time for themselves. And we can do this on short notice if need be. Further, we assign the same Primary Caregiver to each client, whereby the client benefits from getting to know the same familiar face, time after time. This leads to better care, as over time; we become more familiar with the unique needs of the individual and build a relationship. This also allows us to be alert to and flag any issues of concern or change.
