CNH Global said net sales increased 30% in third quarter as agricultural equipment markets continue to perform well and the construction equipment market continues its recovery.

A bill has been introduced to permanently reduce the depreciation schedule for agricultural equipment by two years to five. The bill will put agriculture equipment on parity with construction equipment which has a similar use pattern and life span.
