Twiggy

as the name suggestions, expect to see
loads of twiggy things in this collection!

twig lanterns, branch canopies, cork logs, custom
twiggy centrepieces, manzanita branches and
hanging glass lanterns.

Sarah + Daniel tied the knot in a late afternoon outdoor wedding ceremony on the Terrace at Legends on the Niagara. Cocktails immediately followed the ceremony and later in the evening, guests enjoyed an evening dinner reception with the newlyweds!

We designed using some dazzling yellow garden roses, yellow craspedia, white orchids and hydrangeas, dahlias, delicate cammomile, gloriosa blooms and oodles of gardeny bits such as mint and raspberry foliage from our organic cutting gardens here at the studio!

These custom-built Twiggy lantern 'street lights' made of birch poles looked absolutely awesome with the natural stone and wood elements in the room and on the terrace at Legends!

The wood cut-out Bride + Groom was sourced on Etsy .. bride Sarah sent in a photo which was turned into a sketch and hand-crafted into the cupcake topper!!

We wish Sarah + Daniel a blessed start to their marriage journey .. it was an honour to have had a part in making your big day so special!!

This little town is so full of interest and charm that it naturally enhances any wedding here .. take, for instance, the 19th century fife and drum corps parade we experienced marching down the centre of Queen St. - where else are you going to experience THAT?!?!

Lauren's colour palette was based on our '

' palette plus white and a touch of darker pink. Very soft, romantic and flow-y.  The reception flowers showcased deeper medium pink tones.

We designed primarily with dahlias, pink piano garden roses, pink spray roses and some 'gardeny bits' including delicate fern fronds, astilbe and scented geranium foliage from our studio's organic cutting gardens.

Lauren's bridal bouquet included heavenly-scented gardenias ..

P.S. > We actually rescued these real Robin's nests from our gardens this spring .. you just never know what you'll need a bird's nest for! :) (No robins were harmed .. don't worry!).

Cheers and best wishes to Lauren + David .. it was a pleasure designing the florals for your wedding!

On Saturday night we had the pleasure of designing a 64ft long tablescape for a corporate excursion dinner at Chateau des Charmes Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake .. we had so much fun with this!

We were designing a very "Old World" look for this special dinner .. naturally, we pulled out our cork logs, acacia balls, mason jars with votive candles and some really awesome green swirl vessels. And our Twiggy lanterns were an absolute must to add some ambience to this outdoor event! The linens featured a deep merlot with gold filigree accent and moss napkins.

For the floral colour palette, we designed in deep yellow, orange/gold and moss green using garden roses, oncidium orchids, pin-cushion protea, green hydrangeas, succulents, leucadendron and fresh moss.

It's always a special privilege designing flowers for a friend's wedding .. especially when you've known that person for 20 years and your moms were grade-school chums 50 years ago!!

Such is the case with Kim and Joel's wedding for whom we designed the flowers a few weeks ago! Although we're just getting to know Kim, we go way back to high school with Joel .. and we were so excited to be a part of their wedding celebration!

Cheers and best wishes to Kim and Joel .. we're looking forward to hanging out for many years to come!!!

In September we spent three days producing a suite of five different 'scenes' to inspire and excite you about all the dreamy possibilities for your wedding .. we're over the moon to finally be able to share them with you!

For this outdoor scene, we first selected  as our location because we love it so much! Then we paired '', (one of our all-time fave !) with '' (one of our newest ) and voila .. absolute perfection!

Twiggy inspired elements include our fabulous cork logs, the coca-cola coloured bubbled glass and funky wooden acacia balls.  Florals include garden roses, orchids, dahlias, hydrangea, red skimmia and pink pepperberries.

We're so in love with the modern vintage flair of these pictures!

The well-treed and shaded Miller House garden is a great little gem of a place for an outdoor wedding ceremony right smack-dab in the middle of Niagara-on-the-Lake. The flowers consisted of mainly purple and white hydrangeas and roses, spray roses, smokebush, deep purple vanda orchids and, yep, purple carnations. Best wishes to Kim + Les … thanks for inviting us to be a part of making your Niagara wedding celebration memorable.

Our Collections :: Twiggy - twiggy

This tablescape in the Carriage House features loads of flowers, romantic candlelight, textural elements and the gleam of pristine glass. We were really excited about designing this wedding because it’s really different than what you’d normally see or expect at a wedding. It turns out that we've got this old yellow couch that was sort of one of the main things that started the whole ball rolling ..

Weddings by Colour :: Charm

Usually when we work with distance couples, there is generally some sort of family tie to the greater Niagara area, but in this case, Jennifer + Chris simply fell in love with the idea of getting married in Niagara on the Lake!. We designed primarily with dahlias, pink piano garden roses, pink spray roses and some 'gardeny bits' including delicate fern fronds, astilbe and scented geranium foliage from our studio's organic cutting gardens.
