Our experienced group of designers and surfacers apply a strong engineering background in order to create designs that will deliver the best performance. We use leading-edge software—delivering excellent results, while reducing lead times.
Midwest Mold invests in technology, utilizing automation and high-speed CNC machining applications. We reduce costs by decreasing the direct labor needed to complete projects. Greater precision from the CNC machining reduces the amount of “bench work” needed to finalize the mold making process. These improvement help us maintain domestic competitiveness.
We recognize that a number of OEMs require low-cost options. We have adapted to our customers’ ever-changing needs by offering offshore tooling. We handle the design and program management in the US, and then oversee the tool build in the low-cost country. We then receive, de-crate, degrease and debug the tools is the US. We also incorporate any engineering changes necessary for start of production and texture as needed.
We also provide this service for our customers who have their own offshore suppliers for export to North America.
From beginning to end, our attention to detail, individual customer specifications and open communication create a quality driven end product. Our customers receive complete job documentation including: tool drawings, steel certification, part layout, tryout history and a CD with final 2D and 3D part information.
