Customer-Driven Innovation for Microbial Control

Customers expect solutions. We strive to provide them. Trust FMC Microbial Control Solutions to provide the products and services you need to get the job done right the first time. Products such as,

, your number one way to economically control such problematic genera as

Salmonella, Lysteria, Campylobacter,

in the processing of Poultry.

, developed specifically for the red meat industry, is proven to remain effective in reducing microbial loading associated with

Salmonella typhimurium, E. Coli 0157:H7,

Listeria monocytogenes

.  And

, developed for addressing the growing aseptic packaging business.

Additionally, our VigorOx® and

have a wide variety of uses for water treatments and hard surface disinfection which are being expanded beyond their current label registrations. Our

compliments the VigorOx™ product line by enabling contact times on hard to reach surfaces via foaming systems. It is also a great degreaser and cleans the equipment surfaces by removing fats and oils. Our

treatment targets molds and bacteria associated with spoilage on fruits and vegetables and can also be used to sanitize the processing equipment without altering organoleptic properties of the produce.

However, you get far more than just product from FMC Microbial Control Solutions. As an industry leader, FMC Microbial Control Solutions is actively involved in, and supports, national industry organizations that provide leadership in addressing issues that are important to you.

Enhanced Performance in Microbial Control ApplicationsFor Use with FMC’s VigorOx LS&D® and Clarity™ Peracetic Acid Products Peradigm® provides enhanced performance against organisms of concern such as Mucor and Candida in juice bottling. The enhanced antimicrobial performance at a shorter contact time can allow for faster production without compromising microbial safety and protecting your brand integrity.

FMC Microbial Control - Peracetic Acid

To maintain product quality, FMC recommends storage in a cool, dry, well ventilated area where the temperature of the container will not exceed 30 °C. Packaging containers for FMC’s peracetic acid products are equipped with a vent to relieve internal pressure and must be stored upright. FMC is dedicated to continuous improvement of its peracetic acid process and innovation product.

Peracetic Acid - FMC Microbial Control - HRS II

Using such techniques can leave a question about whether or not all of the surface was truly sanitized and can lead to wasteful sanitizer consumption. Many good sanitizers exist on the market today, and following the procedures on the labels for effective sanitation is critical to success. Oftentimes, flooding techniques are used to ensure the proper contact time for the sanitizer.

Microbial Control > Products > PAA Test Kits

Today’s interest in environmentally friendly or “green” products has greatly increased the popularity of peracetic acid as a sanitizer in food and beverage processing. This makes it ideal for rinsing applications since it requires much less water than traditional sanitizers to remove surface residuals. The 7191-01-FMC titration kit can measure either PAA in 15 ppm increments or Peroxide concentrations in 50 ppm increments.

Peracetic Acid - FMC Microbial Control - Clarity

Approved by the FDA for low acid applications, Clarity™ is an easy-to-use single component peracetic acid microbial agent that can be used for sterilization at lower temperatures and on a wide range of processing equipment, packaging materials and closure systems. Clarity™ can be used on food and beverage packaging materials, and filling equipment in aseptic food and beverage processing to achieve commercial sterility.

Peracetic Acid - FMC Microbial Control - Blitz

Used as directed, Blitz offers an economical, low-capital approach to effectively reduce contamination of pathogenic bacteria; Escherichia coli 0157:H7, Salmonella typhimurium, and Listeria monocytogenes as well as other bacteria that may result in product spoilage or decay. Blitz is permitted for use in the processing of organic red meat in accordance with 7 C.F.R. 205.605.

VigorOx® WWT II

Also this product can be used to enhance UV systems, lowering the power requirement for the lamps, lowering the lamp operating temperature and extending the time for lamp cleaning and replacement. WWT II is a formulation of peracetic acid for the control of pathogens and other microbial organisms in raw sewage, sewage effluent and cooling water applications.
