Three examples of spray foam are: 2 lb. density closed celled spray foam, 1/2 lb. density opened spray foam and 3 lb. density closed celled roofing foam.

2 lb. Density Spray Foam

has a "Real World" R-Value that is uncomprimised by external forces like temperature and wind. As temperature drops, convection currents speed up and other insulations may lose their effectiveness at slowing them down. on the other hand stops convection. Wind is not a factor either for Polar Foam due to its continuous air tight seal.

has an R-Value of over 6 per inch, the highest R-Value on the market today, and is enviromentally friendly. It is made from annually renewable soybean oil and recycled plastic bottles. It also utilizes a zero ozone depleting substance (ZERO ODS) blowing agent. It does not contain any fibers, loose particles, VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) or CFC's (Chloro Flouro Carbons) that can contaminate indoor air quality. A building that is insulated and sealed with will use 50% - 80% less energy, reducing fossil fuel usage and greenhouse gas emissions. No matter how you look at it, with its high R-Value or its "Green" qualities,is a wise choice when deciding which insulation to use for your next project.

1/2 lb. Density Spray Foam

is a water blown spray applied system that cures to a semi-rigid low-density foam, it has a lower R-Value (approximately R 3.6 per inch) than 2 lb. density closed cell spray foam, but is a good air barrier and thermal insulator at a lower per sq. ft. cost. It acts as an air barrier to minimize air leakage and seal the building envelope for optimal air tightness.is safe for the environment, containing no formaldehyde or ozone depleting chemicals.

3 lb. Density Roofing Foam

is a spray applied poly-urethane rigid foam system. it is designed primarily for flat roofing coating systems on a variety of substrates including wood, metal, or concrete. Its high R-Value and seamless spray applied coating makes the of foam and coatings a smart choice when deciding to replace a flat or low sloped roof.

Fiber Insulation

Fiberglass is a man-made product that is composed of natural materials such as sand and recycled glass; the ingredients are melted and spun to create small strands of fiberglass that together form glass wool. Is a product composed primarily of recycled newsprint that has ben treated for fire and pest resistance, with an R-Value 3.6 per inch, cellulose is a good insulator.

Products

The most important fact to note is that this product allows us to significantly upgrade the insulation levels in walls that currently contain a thin fiberglass batt. It has many uses uses including, but not limited to, sealing basement walls and ring-joists, air-sealing in attics, insulating open walls and cathedral ceilings.
