ECO-TEA is OEE Inc's recipe of an actively aerated casting/compost tea with the addition of an organic blend of humic, fulvic and long-chain amino acids, Atlantic kelp extract, simple and complex carbohydrates and enzymes. Further, it injects soluble macro and micronutrients in chelated (plant-available) form into plant root zones. The biology within ECO-TEA will improve soil structure, root function/biomass and the uptake of N-P-K and other required elements.

ECO-TEA contains various sources of organic matter (earthworm castings and plant-based compost), which decay at varying stages during the growing season, continuously generating food sources for plants, plant beneficial bacteria, fungi and other invertebrates.

ECO-TEA is specially brewed to create a balanced ecosystem within your soil. It's unique combination of night-crawler castings/compost, humic acid, bio-stimulants and micronutrients provide a vast array of benefits. The humic acid chelates macronutrients and the fulvic acid chelates micronutrients effectively tying them up in the soil in plant available forms. Atlantic kelp provides a food source for important fungi, while improving the functions of most plant hormones. Based on the amount of ingredients we add, ECO-TEA will be dominated by plant beneficial bacteria or fungi. We can also provide a balanced formulation for general purposes.

The plant beneficial biology within ECO-TEA will help to decrease pathogen stress from bacteria, fungi and some insects. This means plants will focus less on producing energy expensive shock proteins which will drastically increase growth rates and yields.

Some of the benefits of regular ECO-TEA applications include
  • Increase in root function and biomass
  • Increase in availability of natural phosphates and iron
  • Inoculates plant roots with millions of plant beneficial microbes with just a couple of milliliters
  • Increase in plant vigor and chlorophyll production
  • Improves stress tolerance (transplant, drought, cold, physical and pathogens)

OEE Inc. has designed and is now manufacturing an entire line of high-quality compost tea brewing units. Our brewing units are designed to provide an optimal environment for bacterial and fungal growth. Our line includes 100-gallon, 50-gallon, 25-gallon and 7-gallon aerobic compost tea brewing units.

Some of our clients include: Clear Lake Golf Course, Falcon Lake Golf Course, Niakwa Golf and Country Club, Consolidated Turf Equipment, Parks Canada, Red River College and many more

ecological project design

Our goal is stimulate and change the biological communities within the soil focusing on diversifying the soil community and creating a resilient ecosystem more conducive to plant growth. Dr. Norman Kenkel has been an industry leader in ecological project management and data analyses for over 25 years and has been involved in publications in many peer-reviewed journals.

We offer expert services in aquatic invertebrate taxonomy (benthic invertebrates and zooplankton) to aid our clients in understanding the direct impacts industries place upon aquatic habitats. We carry a minimum 3-month turnaround time for benthic invertebrate samples and a 1-month turnaround time for zooplankton. Please view the attached protocol document for details on our sorting and identification protocols for benthic grabs.
