Intraoperative MR Imaging

VISIUS Surgical Theatre delivers intraoperative MR image quality equivalent to diagnostic imaging using 1.5T and 3T MR scanners with a 70cm bore diameter to suit a wide range of patients.  High-field scanners enable advanced imaging capabilities, including spectroscopy, fMRI and DTI that are not available on low-field systems.

On-demand Imaging

IMRIS’ patented technology for transporting the MR scanner is designed to provide enhanced safety and utility.  The mobile, ceiling-rail mounted MR enters and exits the OR on-demand, remaining completely isolated from the surgical theatre during procedures. 

The movement of the MR between multiple rooms is controlled by safety interlocks.  A unique collision detection system on the magnet enhances the safety of the patient, clinical team and the equipment.
