CH Health and Homecare Services Inc. offers a wide range of health care services to clients in their private residences. These services enable our clients to maintain their dignity while living independently at home. All new homecare clients will be assessed to identify their individualized needs. A tailored care plan will be created and modified as clients' needs change.
We provide short and long-term care for clients with varied needs. Our clients include seniors, individuals with special needs (physically and mentally challenged), individuals recovering from illnesses, and children.
Health Care Aide services: We assist clients with all activities of daily living for those with special needs and reduced mental and physical capabilities. These services can include bathing, cooking, laundry, feeding, shopping, transporting clients to medical appointments, transferring clients with physical impairments, companionship, and general housekeeping duties.
Child Care Provider services: We provide respite to families with children with special needs and supervision of children in transition who are awaiting placement.
Health Care Facility Services
CH Health and Homecare Services Inc. provides temporary employment placement of qualified staff for short and long-term care within hospitals, personal care homes, and other health care facilities.
Our staff includes Registered Nurses, Licenced Practical Nurses, Health Care Aides, and Support Staff (performing laundry, housekeeping, and dietary department duties).
C H Health & Home Care Services Inc. provides a wide range of services to personal care homes. Our RNs and LPNs are qualified to conduct assessments, develop, and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. These staff have excellent leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills. Our Health Care Aides are all certified and trained to work in health care facilities.
Our staff is committed to fostering positive, respectful, open, and honest communications with our clientele and staff members of personal care facilities. Staff are orientated on the importance of establishing positive relationships with our clients and recognize that they represent our company. Staff are expected to be reliable, punctual, and abide by the rules and regulations of the institution and our company. We have a large listing of available personnel and assign work in a fair and equitable manner to provide all staff with work hours. Continuity of care is ensured by our staff being provided a report on clientele to be cared for at the beginning of their shift. They prepare and deliver a report on their clients at the completion of their shift to the next caregiver.
Our screening process consists of verifying applicants’ current registration for Nurses and receiving a copy of diploma certificates from approved colleges for Health Care Aides. We interview all applicants to assess personality traits. We conduct strict reference checks from past employers and verify employment dates and request personal information to determine suitability of candidates. All applicants must provide copies of Criminal Record Checks and Child Abuse Registry Checks from the Winnipeg Police Service to ensure that they are bondable. All employees must have a current certification in CPR.
All new Health Care Aide employees are orientated in WHMIS, feeding, swallowing, lifting, and transferring procedures. All employees sign a PHIA pledge stating that they will maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
