PHMS is a server-client application. This means there is a server part and a client part of the installation. The server will store the data and it only should be installed in one location. You will use the client to input, fetch and interact with the data. You will need to install this part on each computer you wish to have access to the database. The client and the server parts may reside on the same computer.

NOTE: Your access to the database will be determined by the network and any of its components that lies between you (the client) and the server.

Server Requirements: Windows 2000, XP, 2003 Server
Client Requirements: Any version of Windows and a minimum 1152x864 screen resolution.

If you cannot follow or do not understand these instructions, please get your IT department to install and configure the database for you.
