Teach Mathematics through literature
I consider literature as a powerful tool to teach mathematics and to involve students in thinking process. I believe that Mathematics requires a great amount of Imagination. For many children it is hard to understand abstract ideas out of real life situation. This is why literature can stimulate their brain to think about facts and problems.

There are many books that combine literature and Mathematics for children. I wrote the series “Into Math with Imagination” for children of elementary school  (Grades 1-5) to teach them different methods of solving Math problems. The books present Mathematical problems to children through fantasies and tales rather than boring numbers, rules and formulas.  For more information check
